Mr. Adhikari has his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia University in the City of New York and Master of Comparative Laws (M.C.L.) from the University of Delhi.

Pravakar Adhikari, Esq., Founding Partner and Chairman of the International Lawyers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nepal. He is an expert on aviation law and related matters. He is recognized as the architect of the first aviation policy in Nepal, and played a critical role in transforming the Department of Civil Aviation to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). Apart from that, he was engaged as a Consultant by the Asian Development Bank for the Institutional Strengthening of the Department of Civil Aviation Project. He served as the Advisor in the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation in His Majesty’s Government of Nepal in 1990s.
Apart from being a lawyer, Mr. Pravakar Adhikari is a Professor of Law at Tribhuvan University Nepal Law Campus. He has a teaching career in International Law, WTO, Settlement of International Disputes, and International Air & Space Law for more than 3.5 decades. He is currently the Chair of the International Law Subject Committee of the Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University. He has authored a number of books and academic articles published in national and international journals.
Mr. Adhikari has also represented various international clients from almost every corner of the world. Mr. Adhikari is the former Vice-President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Nepal. He is also associated with several other international organizations. He is the founding Secretary-General of the Columbia University Alumni Association’s Nepal Chapter.
Mr. Adhikari and has an experience of 38 years of practicing law. He was admitted to the practice of law in Nepal as an Advocate in 1981, and is currently a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of Nepal. Mr. Adhikari has previously worked with the United Nations at its Headquarters, New York for two years in various capacities. His practice is focused on domestic and international corporate and transactional matters, including aviation, arbitration, banking and finances, diplomatic law, energy and infrastructure, insurance, intellectual property, international law, telecommunications, et. al.
